UserGate determines which type of data are contained in the web server's response: audio, video, image, or document, such as MS Word, MS Excel, and others. The UserGate server analyzes resources transferred through HTTP and, depending on the traffic management rules, permits or blocks the data transmission. Thus, with this feature, it is possible to control loading of flash banners or images, turn off java scripts, and prevent the transfer of certain documents types on client machines.
