Internet traffic monitoring and reporting

There are different ways to view statistics in UserGate. In the “Statistics” page of the Administration Console you can view traffic consumption per user or group for a specific time period. From that page, you can also enable or disable a particular user account or group, as well as add funds to their balance in case you utilize UserGate billing system to monitor traffic expenses.

Statistics module

While the Statistics page in the Administration Console can give a quick report on traffic usage, for a truly in-depth analysis of user activity, using the Statistics Module is recommended. It was developed specifically for the purpose of providing highly-detailed reports.

The Statistics module has a powerful filtering capability that allows you to get a report for a set of specific parameters. The parameters may be a certain date range, user or user group, website category, cost, cache size, or protocol, just to name a few, used in any combination. After you apply a filter, you can further group and sort the results in a table, and then use a one-click export feature to export the data to HTML, Excel, or OpenOffice Calc. UserGate can also automatically send personalized Internet statistics to users, and can bill them for a specific time period.
