Internet connection sharing

Internet connection sharing enables you to make Internet access available for computers in a LAN while having just one external IP address. Upon installation, UserGate will automatically recognize available network interfaces and will be ready to route the traffic from a local network to the Internet using Network Address Translation. The IP addresses in the LAN will not be visible from the Internet, and only the inbound packets received as a response to packets sent from within the local network will be allowed. If you have multiple Internet connections, you can specify primary and secondary connections that will be used in case the primary connection is down.

You won’t need a hardware router to organize traffic sharing through UserGate. The program also has its own advanced NAT (Network Address Translation) driver and does not use Microsoft’s built-in ICS feature.
