Entensys announced today that its new version 4.2 of UserGate Proxy and Internet Security Server now includes both Panda and Kaspersky antivirus engines.

What’s new?

Panda engine is integrated, so both the Panda and Kaspersky antivirus engines work together as a double layer of protection.
Ability of managing traffic speeds by means of NAT (Network Address Translation) drivers and filtering of IP addresses through NAT.
The fetch speed was greatly increased in the statistic utility.
The performance of UserGate was greatly increased even when using a massive list of restricting filters.
Ability to view by IP address (double click on a row of the report).
New firewall settings are applied right away without restarting.
Capability of setting up weekly traffic quotes.
New option to Compact and Repair the Database was added to Scheduler.

Other changes

The user dialog for the selections in the statistic utility was improved.
The user groups information now can be displayed in the statistic utility.
The fetch speed was greatly increased in the statistic utility.
The performance of UserGate was greatly increased even when using a massive list of restricting filters.
The number of duplicate entries in the database is now reduced when “save host name only” is selected.
Application stability was greatly improved.
UDP port mapping now works correctly.
The parameter “webhost name” now can be saved in the configuration file.
FireFox works with FTP over HTTP.
AD authorization works through an authorization client
